Conor P. Williams is a fellow at The Century Foundation. He previously worked as a first-grade teacher in Brooklyn. He was also the founding director of New America’s Dual Language Learners National Work Group and a senior researcher in its Education Policy Program. He holds a PhD (and M.A.) in Government from Georgetown University, an M.S. in Teaching from Pace University, and a B.A. in Government and Spanish from Bowdoin College.
